About Haveli Ulfat Rai

Built in the mid-1930s by Chaubey ULFAT Rai, one of the prominent Zamindars of Kamtari, Haveli ULFAT Rai carries a rich legacy of heritage and history. Once a grand ancestral mansion with 22 rooms, the Haveli stood silent for decades after the abolition of the Zamindari system.

Today, after years of careful restoration and preservation, the Haveli has been transformed into a boutique heritage hotel by Prashant Kumar Chaturvedi — an NRI based in New York — with the vision of reviving its original grandeur while preserving its cultural soul.

Every corner of the Haveli reflects old-world charm blended with modern comfort, offering guests a unique experience far away from crowded city life.
